The Remembering – A Night Celebrating Lives and Legends of Avich & Kilchrenan

Nov1st was a spectacular night at Kilchrenan Village Hall with “The Remembering!” ✨

We began with the moving Lives Remembered performances in the kirkyard — three beautiful tributes to the people and stories that shaped this place we call home.

Then the night unfolded into music, myth, laughter and togetherness:

📜 The world premiere of our Community Poem (see separate post and film)

📖 Captivating storytelling — and brilliant compering throughout the evening — from Dawud Duncan

🎶 Spectacular singing from Còisir Ghàidhlig Thaigh an Uillt (Taynuilt Gaelic Choir)

🎭 Outstanding performances from Audrey Green-Oaks and the Three Wee Crows Theatre Company

🎤 And our very own Open Mic, full of poems, songs and community spirit

🤩 Huge thanks to everyone who came along, to all our performers, the Dalavich Art Group for the wonderful masks and all the volunteers.

And to Kilchrenan Village Hall, AKCH and Green Power for supporting the month of Remembering events.

Here are just a few glimpses of the warmth, creativity and connection that filled the hall.

💫 Finally, massive thank you to our photographer Libby Hiatt who captured the night in film.
